Ranger Marching Band
The RMB meets every day during marching season. After working for a week at band camp with help from instructors, these dedicated students participate in many community performances such as the Harvest Festival and help to bring the Athletic Complex to its feet during home football games! This year the Ranger Marching Band theme was "Sounds of the 70's" features the songs War Pigs, Thats the Way I Like it, Kung Fu Fighting, and Dream On.

High School Concert Band
Beginning after the conclusion of marching band season, Concert Band meets every day during school. This ensemble is made up of very talented student musicians who work hard to find success at challenging literature. The concert band performs for the community at events like the annual Veterans Day Assembly, Hope Network's Christmas Party and Memorial Day Ceremonies with the VFW. Students from this band also participate in MSBOA All-Star band, Solo and Ensemble and CMU instrumental workshop.
Middle School Concert Band
This ensemble is a combination of the 7th and 8th grade musicians. Meeting everyday, the Middle School Concert Band continues to develop an ensemble sound and explores new literature written for concert band. The 7th and 8th grade band went band festival for a rating and earned a division 2! Student musicians from this band are able to participate in Solo and Ensemble Festivals in November and April.
6th Grade Band
Enjoying the title of the largest band of just one grade, 6th Grade Band is electrifying! Meeting once a day, this band continues to improve and mature in musicianship at an ever increasing rate. With a focus on individual tone and technique students are challenged with more complex repertoire.
5th Grade Band
The 5th Grade Band meets every day in the 4th marking period. These beginners work hard to develop embouchure, posture, hand position, and a strong tone. Once this foundation is laid the rate of progress is quite impressive! The more students play for family and friends at home, the faster they improve and those home performances become even more enjoyable!!
Choir
Manton Choir is now in its 4th year. The Choir is now officially part of MSVMA and is able to particpate in events like Solo and Ensemble or maybe one day Choir festival. In 2019, the choir went to solo and ensemble for the first time and earned a Division 1 rating. This allowed them to compete at the state level where they also earned a Superior Division 1 rating. In 2020, the choir returned to solo and ensemble and earned an excellent division 2.
